Scout’s started with a simple belief: getting a great haircut shouldn’t mean choosing between quality and convenience. In 2014, we opened our doors with the goal of creating something Nashville didn’t have yet—a neighborhood shop where skilled professionals, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere all came together under one roof.
As Nashville’s first unisex barbershop, we built Scout’s to be a neighborhood place where everyone feels comfortable in the chair and confident when they leave.
More than a decade later, that vision still guides everything we do. Locally and women owned, Scout’s has grown alongside the communities we serve, earning the trust of our neighbors and being voted Nashville’s Best Barbershop year after year.

Looking good is great. Feeling connected and giving back is even better. Since 2016, our Haircuts for Humans initiative has helped us support the communities that support us. Through partnerships with organizations like Martha O’Bryan Center and Backfield in Motion, we’ve raised more than $300,000 to invest in students, families, and neighbors across Tennessee.
We believe a haircut can be more than a service. It can build confidence, create connection, and help people take the next step forward. That’s why giving back will always be part of who we are.
COMMON QUESTIONS:
Do I need an appointment, or can I just walk in?
Walk-ins are always welcome when we have availability. If you’re feeling spontaneous, stop by and we’ll do our best to get you in the chair. Want to guarantee your spot? Booking online is the quickest way to lock in a time that works for you.
What is your cancellation and no-show policy?
We know plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you do so at least one hour before your scheduled appointment time.
For color services, we ask that cancellations or reschedules be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Following these guidelines allows us to offer appointment times to other clients. Appointments canceled outside of these windows, as well as no-shows, will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service price.

How do I know which location to pick?
With shops located across Tennessee, choose the shop that’s most convenient for you. Every Scout’s has its own personality and neighborhood character, but you’ll find the same commitment to great service and quality craft at every location.
Do you offer services beyond standard haircuts?
